PHYTORÉNAL is a product for veterinary use containing extracts of vegetable origin - LESPEDEZA CAPITATA, ARTICHOKE and ORTOSIPHON - with MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE. This product is recommended in cases of hyperazotemia and renal deficiency and as an aid in treating cystitis, itching, eczema and edema. It is particularly indicated in horses for solving problems of stasis swelling that affect the joints, especially on rest days.

LESPEDEZA CAPITATA -has an important diuretic effect. This action does not induce any acute or chronic toxic effect in animals in any pathological condition. Additionally, LESPEDEZA CAPITATA reduces azotemia, uremia and cholesterol.

LIQUID EXTRACT OF ARTICHOKE - ARTICHOKE is especially indicated for the liver. This extract stimulates bile secretion and produces a laxative and diuretic effect.

LIQUID EXTRACT OF ORTOSIPHON -This vegetable extract is non-toxic. It is used as a hepato-renal diuretic agent because it produces a decongestant effect in the liver and bile ducts. It is indicated in cases of oliguria, azotemia, arthritis, cystitis and bladder problems.

MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE - This MAGNESIUM SALT is used as a purgative to assist the organism in eliminating toxic wastes. Used orally, MAGNESIUM SALTS are indicated in cases of gastric and intestinal atony and constipation. Additionally, they are indicated in cases of bile deficiency and as cholagogic agents. Dosages used are not sufficient to reach toxic levels of magnesium ions.

LESPEDEZA CAPITATA (in the form of a tincture) 15 ml
ARTICHOKE (in the form of liquid extract) 18 ml
ORTOSIPHON (in the form of liquid extract) 12 ml
MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE 2 gr

INDICATION: as an aid to specific treatment against hyperazotemia, renal or hepatic deficiency, cystitis and edema.

DOSAGES:
HORSES: 15 ml twice daily. Shake before using.
