Reporting undesirable effects following the use of veterinary medicines
Anyone can report an adverse event. Vets and Pharmacists are required by law to send the report on the veterinary medicine to the Ministry of Health and the Regional Centres.It is also useful for the company owning the product involved to receive the pharmacovigilance form sent to the Ministry of Health and the Regional Centres.
This allows the company itself to monitor the safety and efficacy of its drugs in a timely manner.
