Reporting side effects of veterinary medicinal products: Anyone can report an adverse event. In compliance with the law, Veterinary Doctors and Pharmacists must forward a report regarding the veterinary medicinal product to the (Italian) Ministry of Health and Regional Centres. It is useful also for the Company which owns the concerned product to receive the Pharmacovigilance report card forwarded to the Ministry of Health and Regional Centres. This enables the Company to promptly monitor the safety and efficacy of its pharmaceutical products.
