The innovative formula of Flexadin Advanced is made for supporting the joint metabolism especially of horses suffering from Osteoarthritis. The original formula with the undenatured type-II-collagen UC-II® and Boswellia serrata is of particular interest for horses whose joint mechanism is subject to intense effort and regular exertion for lasting joint health and mobility.

The unique combination of Flexadin Advanced with UC-II®, Boswellia serrata, Manganese and Omega-3-fatty acids has been formulated especially to improve the repair mechanisms of cartilage and joints, thereby helping to maintain joint mobility. The product contains

UC-II®: a molecule of undenatured (native) type II collagen (A triple helix 3D structure and associated epitopes corresponding to cartilage collagen). This molecule privileges an interaction with the digestive tract and associated lymphoid tissues and leads therefore to immune modulating effects in the joint by down-regulating the attack of joint cartilage via the immune system.
Boswellia serrata: the extract of specific Boswelic acids is well investigated in humans and dogs for having anti-inflammatory effects in suppressing the cascade of releasing local tissue hormones (Leucotriens) that are responsible for triggering inflammatory processes in the joint.
Omega-3-fatty acids: Omega-3 fatty acids are of great importance for the metabolism. They are needed for the production of various tissue hormones and as components of the cell membranes. In addition, studies have shown that they can strengthen the immune system and reduce inflammation.
